Olivia is a Resident in Counseling (LPC-R) at our Ashburn/Lansdowne location, offering in-person and telehealth sessions.
Olivia seeks to create a safe space for collaboration with empathy and compassion. Building a therapeutic alliance with her clients is guided by curiosity to understand each unique individual without judgment. While maintaining an eclectic and holistic lens, she integrates approaches of Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Psychodynamic theories. Olivia strives to help others identify their strengths, explore their self-identity, and gain insight on resources to work towards goals.
Olivia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminology with a minor in Sociology from Hofstra University. She earned a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University. Previously, she has worked in residential hospital settings with children and adolescents as well as outpatient services with adults for a domestic violence program. During this time, she gained experience providing services to those facing a variety of mental health challenges. This included but was not limited to topics of anxiety, depression, relationships, grief/loss, substance abuse, self-esteem, and complex trauma.
