Olivia is a Resident in Counseling at our Leesburg/Lansdowne location, offering in-person and telehealth sessions.

Olivia creates a safe space for collaboration with empathy and compassion. Building a therapeutic alliance with her clients is guided by curiosity to understand each unique individual without judgment. While maintaining an eclectic and holistic lens, she integrates approaches from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Psychodynamic theories. Olivia strives to help others identify their strengths, explore their self-identity, and gain insight into resources to work toward goals.

Olivia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminology with a minor in Sociology from Hofstra University. She earned a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University. Previously, she worked in residential hospital settings with children and adolescents as well as outpatient services with adults for a domestic violence program. During this time, she gained experience providing services to those facing a variety of mental health challenges. This included but was not limited to topics of anxiety, depression, relationships, grief/loss, substance abuse, self-esteem, and complex trauma.

Outside of her professional life, Olivia stays inspired through her love of live music and the arts, exploring the great outdoors, and challenging herself with new cooking recipes.

“Avoiding your triggers isn't healing. Healing happens when you're triggered and you're able to move through the pain, the pattern, and the story, and walk your way to a different ending.”
