Kelly Hoskins, LCSW
Kelly Hoskins is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience working in schools and outpatient settings. Kelly has provided services to children, teens, families and individuals who have struggled with anxiety, depression, trauma, adoption, divorce, family conflict, life transitions, and parenting. She has a passion for ADHD and autism. She utilizes a flexible approach with a person-centered focus incorporating ACT (acceptance commitment therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), strengths-based, expressive art / play therapy, and faith-based counseling.
Kelly centers her approach on meeting the client where they are in their life journey. She acknowledges how often we think life would be perfect if only there was a manual for living. However, we really would miss out on the art of our inner story and world. The art of life is shown creatively through our story but with this story comes challenges which create emotions; emotions that can hurt yet make us feel alive. Kelly’s hope is to travel back through your story whether young or old by providing a safe place to take the journey. Many are holding untold and unexplored stories which need both a voice and ear to hear in order for them to come to life and be healed. This journey / your story provides insights into your past and choices for your future. This story/journey is where you find the best you!
Kelly is a parent of two adult adopted children from South Korea and the owner of a therapy English cream golden retriever dog named Remi. Kelly and family enjoy walks and playing games together. Another of her passions is exploring new cities and cultures. Lastly, she enjoys hosting get-togethers with family and friends as connections with others creates meaning and fulfillment in life.
“Your life story is a gift, and it should be treated as such.”
