What Can Art Therapy Sessions Include?

Kara’s approach may include drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, or writing as ways to communicate feelings and experiences. You and Kara can discuss which activities feel comfortable and relevant to your goals. Creative work is part of counseling, rather than a test of artistic skill.

Traditional talk therapy is also welcome. You do not have to choose creative activities for every session; ask Kara how she combines conversation and art in her practice.
